Thank you to all they came out and helped the team raise money yesterday . We ate lots of food and had a good time. When the AAGPBL held there reunion here a few years back they had a meet and greet at the hotel bar they were staying at. It was Opening day of baseball season . When the national anthem began to play all the girls and few of us stood up and put our hand over there hearts. I looked around only to see a lot of people just sit there and go about there business. Not good. Fast forward to last night and the Blackhawks game was about to begin and out of all the people that were there The Rockford Starfires were the only ones to stand up and place there hands over there hearts. What is a matter with people in this country that they cant take a couple of minutes to respect what this country stands for and for all the people that have serve in the military to keep us safe and free. So the next time it happens im speaking up.
