Thank you to all who attended yesterdays Lecture and AGM. It was great to meet you all and to hear your ideas. The next year will be very interesting for DRFI as we explore new territories and prepare for our 5th International Conference, in association with Dance Ireland in July 2014. Thank you also to Dr Breandan de Gallaí who gave our members lecture this year: a fascinating insight to his experiences of developing his recent work Rite of Spring, and how he approached it through his Arts Practice PhD. We welcomed 3 new members to the Board of DRFI: Anna Mackey, Mairead Vaughan, and Patrick Coyne. And we also welcomed back Dr Mats Melin as Treasurer, and officially appointed Jenny Brown as Secretary. Many thanks Dr Emma Meehan and Carmel McKenna, who stepped down from the Board yesterday. Both have contributed so much to the organisation. We hope you keep us up to date with your exciting projects!
