Thank you to all who have loved and supported us as we took Julianna to college this week. I left part of my heart in Toccoa yesterday.But ,throughout the day, the Lord continued to confirm to David and me that this was what He had planned for our Julianna. As we drove on campus, Dr. Myers, the president of TFC, was there to greet every car and he personally shared the Word from the Lord I needed to hear, Dont worry. The same God who cares for the birds and the wildflowers will take care of Julianna. (Matthew 6) The whole family helped set her room up, and as we unpacked I thought of how she will be surrounded by so much tangible evidence of the love of her family, her church family and dear friends. So many of you shared in that moment with her. And so my heart is so full of so many things, excitement for her, thanksgiving to all of you, praise to our great God, but also a deep sense of sadness that she is not here. But I know the same God who took care of me in my college years, will take care of her. #genesis3149 #mizpah #beingamomhurts
