He was a husband, father, brother, uncle and all the other hats that he wore. No one could ever wear any of those hats like he did. None of us could ever be him, because God chose him, to be himself. It will be especially hard for our congregation to come into Second McCannan and not see that loving souls presence physically occupying the first pew. I remember Pastor Bates from Mills Grove Baptist Church saying that the first pews were the mourners bench. Well my dear cousin, you dont have to mourn anymore.
