Thank you to everyone who has sent lovely messages about Orto and I. You have all been so kind. Losing him on Saturday was one of the worst days of my life and Im still struggling to come to terms with it. Orto was the most amazing horse and I consider myself the lucky one to have ridden him to four star level. He was brave and careful and just always tried his best. He was the ultimate xc horse. I think he learnt to tolerate the dressage and we definitely had many a session where he would throw his toys out of the pram! However with time and a huge amount of work we achieved great things winning the CIC 3* at Bramham being one of them! We became a great partnership and I trusted him every step of the way. Its hard to put into words the kind of bond I had with Orto but sat here writing this tears rolling down my face he was and will always be a horse of a lifetime. So thank you Orto for the amazing times you gave me. Also a big thank you to Jackie and Nick for their loyal support and continued faith in the both of us.
