Thank you to our good friend, Suzy Seamans for nominating us for the ALS ice bucket challenge. We accept and nominate our 3 kids, Emily, Carl and Jacob Shelton. We have a special place in our heart for anybody that suffers from this crippling and fatal disease that took the life of Researcher, Physician, Husband, Father, TBE Community Member, and Friend, Scott Mackler. ALS leaves its victims in wheelchairs, unable to speak or move any muscles and eventually death. Every year, since 1999, Temple Beth El sponsors a 5K to raise money for ALS. This year it is scheduled for October 26th at 12:30. We would love for you to join us.
