Thank you to the people that have been messaging their thoughts on building an extraordinary Palmdale. One of which I would like to address is the residents of east Palmdale and how they feel unsafe. At the October 16th Palmdale Chamber of Commerce Mayor and City Council forum, Mr. Ledford made a comment, Stop putting east Palmdale down, I live there, it’s a great area and we need to talk about how great it is. I do agree that we need to stay positive, however one of the reoccurring comments from the east side community is their safety concern. We cannot continue to ignore the issues. East Palmdale needs immediate attention and it is imperative that we put it on our priority to revitalize the neighborhoods. It is a high priority to rebuild the spirit of our community on the east side. We will examine cities and review successful programs to revitalizing unsafe communities. Under my leadership, all of Palmdale will be safe. Our residents will take pride in living here and it will be sought after to move to Palmdale. Vote Lynn Minidis for Mayor of Palmdale 2013 and together we will build an extraordinary Palmdale.
