Thank you to those of you who emailed and signed the petition asking Californias Governor Brown to engage in a discussion with the governor of Californias new sister state, Guangdong (Canton) Province, over the atrocious dog and cat slaughterhouses in that province. However, we need many more signatures and voices to make an impact. The timing of this campaign is perfect. Recently, after several years of undercover investigation, Duo Duos team members in China have finally pushed local television news to cover the story of the heinous slaughterhouses. We need to continue to build pressure on officials so that they will be forced to take actions or nothing will happen.
