Thank you to those that came along yesterday, the results were as follows: Overall Winners: Touch Me Up Relegated From Prem: Earth Sciences Promoted to Prem: Hertford Relegated from Champ: Jesus Promoted to Champ: Touch Me Up Tony Wooden Spoon: Balliol Only two weeks left, with next week’s tournament all important for the finale in 8th week. 8th Week Finale The festival in 8th week will serve as the culmination of the 8 week series. We will have an extended tournament with plenty of teams asking to join as a one off. As you have played the 7 preceding weeks you will be given preferential seeding in the draw, and your seeding will be based on your position at the end of week 7. There is an informal fancy dress theme (optional) of Jungle/Safari so feel free to face paint and or dress up. There will be a prize for the ‘Best Dressed’ team. A multitude of prizes will be handed out, sponsored by the White Horse Brewery. A BBQ and drinks will be available for your refreshment. The changing rooms will be open (one for women, one for men) if you wish to change and shower before and after. Because it will be a bigger event registration will be at 3.30pm and I will be asking for confirmation of attendance nearer the time. The tournament will be held at the Iffley Road stadium. Immediately following the tournament will be Captain’s Cocktails, tickets are £10. For those who do not know what Captain’s Cocktails is, it is a essentially a garden party (with a bouncy castle, slip and slide, paddling pool, music) at which all your drinks for the evening are covered by the £10 ticket. Captain’s Cocktails starts at 6pm and will finish at 10pm. The theme for captain’s cocktails is also Jungle/safari and you are welcome to shower and change at the rugby club after touch before the frivolities begin.
