Thank you to those that has participated in the Herp/Bird Group outing last weekend! The herping was much better than I had expected. I hope everyone had a great time at Genting dispite the slight discomforts. We saw 13 frogs. They were: Dark-sided Chorus Frog - Microhyla heymonsi Common Grass Frog - Fejervarya limnocharis Four Linned Tree Frog - Polypedates leucomystax Saffron Bellied Frog - Chaperina fusca Malesian Frog - Limnonectes malesianus Giant River Frog - Limnonectes blythii Corrugated Frog - Limnonectes laticeps Long Legged Horned Frog - Xenophrys longipes Perak Horned Frog - Xenophrys aceras Poison Rock Frog - Odorrana hosii Banjaran Frog - Hylarana banjarana Malayan Gliding Frog - Rhacophorus prominanus Amolops larutensis - Amolops larutensis 2 Lizards: Southern Titiwangsa Bent-Toed Gecko - Cyrtodactylus australotitiwangsaensis Marbled Bent Toed Gecko - Cyrtodactylus quadrivirgatus And 3 Snakes: Common Mock Viper - Psammodynastes pictus (in the male shower room!) Pink Headed Reed Snake - Calamaria schlegeli Siamese Pit Viper - Trimeresurus fucatus (feeding on a R. prominanus!)
