Thankful - 11/27/13 I am thankful that I was able to have a nice lunch with my hubby today and that after the kids got home from school and I helped the girl finish making the centerpiece for tomorrow (all her design I just operated my hot glue gun and cut a couple of things out for her), I was able to spend a little more time with my hubby while the kids played with friends. I ended up falling asleep and my hubby took care of things so I could get a nap. Now I am back in bed, get to play on my computer and know that the stuffing, pumpkin pie and cranberry sauce are ready for tomorrow. I have everything I need to make the spinach dip, sweet potatoes and green bean casserole. The turkey is in soaking in brine. Things are going well. My last thankful for today is for something that Marnye Moore taught me. Fruit flies are a pain and I am able to have almost no problems with them because of the trick that Marnye taught me. Liquid soap, apple cider vinegar and a little water in a small dish. Makes for dead fruit flies and isnt toxic! Thank you Marnye! It may seem like a little thing, but it is a HUGE help!
