Thankful Thursday. True story....so yesterday I drove to court in Arkansas. So you know I NEVER meet a stranger. After waiting hours I began conversation with a gentleman and his wife who happened to be from Memphis. I soon realized our violations were similar. After listening to several redundant cases we had all taken similar measures to resolve. My new acquaintance had chosen an attorney. I chose prayer and in keeping with scripture knowing faith without works is dead.....my Big Brother had driven over too. We listened and supported our newly made acquaintances with smiles and head nods as their sentences were heard. The nice gentleman from 901.....Memphis had his attorney. He was so proud of her work that as he grinned and walked out winking and nodding at me as if to say I told you home girl. I gave him thumbs up and discussed with my brother that not only did the resolve in the reduced fines seem consistent if you satisfied the courts but his reductions were now going to be nullified once he paid her which thus in my opinion he didnt save $ as he thought. But to my surprise he sent his wife in the court room to share his attorneys name snd she suggested again call her home girl shes good. I thanked her as I squeezed her hand and wished them well. Finally the moment of truth. I gathered my receipts and other documents of support. Rehearsed again as I listened to my brother in our dads James A. Banks voice tell me once again what to say. For some reason when I speak the judge wants to know where im from..... go figure. But then the moment of truth.....Mrs. Crenshaw your officer is unable to make it therefore, all charges are.......wait for it FBF....NOT reduced......ALL CHARGES ARE DISMISSED YOU are FREE to leave. We gratefully received counsel and praised our way out. I gotta tell you I wanted to tell my memphis friend im happy that your attorneys work reduced your fees to less than $2000 shes good..... but ba-bae my Gods greater.......trust and believe♡....this has been another thankful Thursday message brought to you by the tested and tried it true......good day♡
