Thankful for a full day of blessings which included beyond great customer service and care at MRMC Emergency room. Some of you are aware that over the last week I have had this crazy pain in my left upper rib and chest/heart area. Many years ago I had an inflammation of the lungs and it feels very similar to that. The pain was more constant today so with Vanessa lovingly fussing at me after the PAC Master class performance I promised her Id go to MRMC and get checked. Brittany and I checked in shy of 2:00 and were released by 4:00! EKG, chest X-rays, blood work, test, test, test and monitoring with a very clean bill of health with one small exception. Last Saturday I went to jump from the porch for a piggy back ride on Brittany because I had no shoes on and wanted to see a wire that had pulled away from the side of the house. When I launched, I felt something pull and BINGO muscle a top of rib area. I told the ER folks that I knew my heart is great as it hangs on for 30 to 40 miles of SPIN each week and my resting heart rate is in the low 40s forever! Hats off to MRMC for their awesome service and for Brittanys TLC! No more piggy back rides! I should learn to act my age. Sooooo funny as Brookes friends that came home from Atlanta with her were waiting for our baton twirling lessons. Next time!
