Thankful! is a feeling or attitude in acknowledgment of a benefit that one has received or will receive. Also, let the peace of the Christ rule in your hearts, for you were called to that peace in one body. And show yourselves thankful. Let the word of the Christ reside in you richly in all wisdom. Keep on teaching and encouraging one another with psalms, praises to God, spiritual songs sung with gratitude, singing in your hearts Whatever it is that you do in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, thanking God the Father through him. until we come to know him on a spiritual, and intimate, an on a personal level we can never quite know what it means to be thankful until we have surrender it all to him, then and only then will we understand what it truly means to be thankful. this is a point where you automatically thinks of God before you attempt any situation or attempt to embark on any endeavor he is the head and not the tail, then you will truly know that he is responsible for everything that concerns you or that concerns the world. to be thankful is to be thankful for all the good and the bad the enemy and the friend, the thankfulness for your rewards lie not here on earth but up in heaven with Jesus our Lord and Savior! But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. This go to show the believers that if we give of ourselves the Lord will be thankful, and in return he will give you more than enough, he will make a way out of no way, he will be the calmness within the storm, an to that extent Im thankful for all that given to me. Im thankful for each an every breath, because his hand controls the oxygen valve, that substains my very life. Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. We have to thankful for facts, the fact that this might be a very bad time and it might get worse before it gets better, the fact that something is going on that I have no control over, these types of situations are when we need to praise him and be thankful, for the angel he sent to gently wake me out of my sleep this morning, be thankful, that he saw fit to let my mind function without being confused, we just ought to raise our hands as a sign of surrender and thank him right now. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Gratitude is not the same as indebtedness. While both emotions occur following help, indebtedness occurs when a person perceives that they are under an obligation to make some repayment of compensation for the aid. The emotions lead to different actions; indebtedness can motivate the recipient of the aid to avoid the person who has helped them, whereas gratitude can motivate the recipient to seek out their benefactor and to improve their relationship with them. Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for good; yea, when thou liest down at night lie down unto the Lord, that he may watch over you in your sleep; and when thou risest in the morning let thy heart be full of thanks unto God; If you dont have bad times, you cant appreciate the good times, and if you dont whether the storm, you dont appreciate the sunshine. I have learned to weather the storm for with Jesus, I am the sunshine through Christ, each and every day no matter who or what fails to be with me, in Christ I rise with the sun, and Im Thankful!!!
