Thankful that Eli the cat is feeling better- yesterday I tried rough housing with him and did not realize he had an injury- I accidently burst a huge abscess in front of his ear on the underside of his face- it started seeping yellow puss- I took a warm wash cloth and started to push the goo out of his face- must have been a good 2 tablespoons of puss- I then took cotton balls and put drawing salve on it and wrapped his round little head with a soft gauze- it continued to ooze right through the gauze and cotton balls- I then cleaned the area again and put Neosporin on it- more cotton balls and more gauze- this morning it is not swollen, red or weeping to much- yea! He was very happy to get the band aid off his head- LOL
