Thankful today for my long-time time friend Monica. For those of you who dont know, we have been friends since sixth grade, which is, quite frankly about a million years ago. Since then we have both grown from little girls who giggled in hammocks to women who have raised families and worked hard to find ourselves over the years and where our space is on the planet we call home. Monica has always supported me, given me strength and even when we have fought, taught me something about myself, even if it was something I didnt want to see. Her, being the kind person she is, has always been the one I can pick up the phone and call, and even if we havent spoke to one another in a while, it is like it was only yesterday. You are my sister, my family and my friend, and I am so profoundly glad that you were brought into my world. I love you and cherish the past as well as the future.
