#ThankfulTuesday We know what makes UHDC special isnt just our amazing hot dogs, but the people who come in day in and day out to ensure you get a quality dog and great service! We took some time to sit down with the people who help make UHDC...well UHDC! Chris Lowery, who hails from Florida originally, has been with us since the beginning, he has been a crucial member of the team since day one! Chris has a great sense of humor and helps make each shift a fun and an interesting one! He is a very creative individual who has had a hand in creating some of our delicious weekly specials! UHDC: What is one of your favorite things to do? CHRIS: “Hanging with good friends and getting cold dranks” UHDC: Who is your favorite NFL and NBA team? CHRIS: “The Denver Broncos and Miami Heat” UHDC: Wow...this really has been a rough year for you hasnt it? CHRIS: *heavy sobbing, mostly inaudible mumbling, but every once in a while I can make out an OMAHA and 4th quarter cramps* We had to pause the interview during this time to console and let Chris collect himself. Lets move on to something a little more positive here... UHDC: What has been one of your best memories since joining the UHDC team? CHRIS: “Being able to make my own dogs and have them added to the weekly special.” UHDC: What is your favorite hot dog? CHRIS: “The MT. Fuji, the crunchy onion with queso, and South Carolina...I can’t pick just one!” UHDC: If two of the hot dogs on our menu were to get into a fight. Which ones would it be, and who would win? CHRIS: “Another good question and with hours (more like seconds) of pondering I think the other chile and real chile would get into a fight and I believe that the other chile would come out on top.” UHDC: Can you go into what made you come to this conclusion? CHRIS: “Of course, the other chili would undoubtedly win because of its originality and outstanding taste, and you could tag team it and add UHDC slaw and bbq for a fusion that only can be matched by the likes of Goku and Vegeta.” UHDC: Interesting perspective and Dragon Ball Z reference. Were sure there are a lot of Real Chile fans out there who would like to have a word or two with you, Chris. Thanks for your time and for being such an integral part of the UHDC team.
