Thanking God for Earnest....he dropped everything in Houston to come take me to the surgical center this morning for this procedure on my back. When he first was learning what the Ortho Specialist was going to have done to me...I didnt even get to ask him IF he could come be with me. He told me he would take me. I was doing what I could afterwards to walk off that anesthesia. We checked my mail. Dropped off some papers to work. We went to the store to get some groceries for supper. Ran into my work family. Was good to see Barbara BonillaRonshelle Monique Arvie Cary Rubsamen Mary LeBlanc Smith Marvin Smith and Rebecca Taylor. Seen someone else....but I guess its the anesthesia.....Im not thinking properly. Anyway....came home and once again, Earnest cooked some mean cheeseburgers on chaibatta buns that were toasted on the grill and some steak cut french fries. And, because I guess he wants me doing as little as possible....he washed the dishes too! Good lord.....I am blessed. Apparently the procedure went well. I was more than a little loopy when we left. The doctor reported everything to Earnest. Only thing Earnest said was, Well, Baby....you cant twerk for 24 hours. Poor darling....I dont think I could twerk on the very best of days, even if my life depended on it!!! LOL. Im hoping that I will now be back on track. They said it could be a few days before I truly felt better....or, the actual results of this. But, I am believing that this will be just what I needed. I can live with being less than 100% for a few more days. So long as I keep believing that healing is on its way. The only complication that I can report from today is that my veins were not cooperative. The RN would get the IV in....then she would have to dig around with it. Strike one was in my right hand. Strike two was in my left hand. Yes....she was kind to me and used lidocaine. But, when they have to dig....it hurts. She felt so bad....apologizing profusely. The anesthesiologist assistant tried with success on the third time. I told the first nurse....that it was very early in the morning and that I was very sure that she would have lots of patients after me. I asked her to please think about them and to not give another thought to my crazy veins....because it was not her fault. My arms, wrists and I imagine my left side of my back where they stuck whatever they stuck in me is.....is all bruises. Those will soon pass and I should be all good. Thanks for all that have taken time to check....and pray. I know I will miss tagging some. I dont mean too...Its late and I am tired. Love yall.
