Thanking God for my phone NOT working yesterday. Sounds odd right, well here it is. After church yesterday I was going to indy to pick a load of wood for my stove. A friend was giving me. She was trying to call me and text me to tell me that someone already took the wood. My phone for some reason kept shutting off so I did NOT get the message. I got close to the area where the wood was and my phone strangely turned on and and was beeping like crazy! Missed calls and texts from my friend Chris Latham Roy. I pulled over and called her. She apologized that someone already took the wood and she was trying to save me a trip for I was short on finances,ie getting the wood given to me for heat. I told her sry my phone was messed up but it gave me the perfect opportunity to go visit my Grandmother since she lived so close to where I was. You see I usually visit her at least once or twice a week and make her lunch and visit if I am working near by but for the past couple of weeks work has been very busy and I was unable to see her. Missing her very much I was kind of I lightened that the wood was gone so I could go visit her. When I arrived at her apartment I noticed that not only was her door unlocked but it was partially opened. At 94 yo she is very hard of hearing so I yield for her but heard nothing. I went to her bedroom door to find it shut tight so I knocked loudly. Then I heard her faint crystal for help! I opened the door to find her on the floor. She was so out of it she had no idea of how many days she had been there. I called for an ambulance and God bless the EMS and Firfighters for there immediate response. She was taken to the hospital where she is recovering. Lord I thank you for guiding us on our paths we take in life. Even when we dont know what they are or why you take there but I realize that with you all things are possible. Thank you Lord for saving my Grandmother. And thank of you for your prayers.
