Thanking God for this day and all that He has done. Church today was awesome. The spirit of The Lord was truly up in New Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and Pastor Seddrick Eddington really did allow The Lord to use Him to preach a mighty word coming out of John 15: 1-7 Abide In Him. He shared with us that there are two kinds of branches, one that bear no fruit and the one that bear more fruit. He also let us know that you have your fake Christians and you also have your True Christians, the ones that profess salvation and the ones who genuinely possess salvation. Those that will be taken away and those that will be pruned and you do know what pruning is, dont you? When it comes to gardening, pruning involved cutting off the superfluous branches of a plant. This is done to make the tree bear better fruit, give a better appearance, and grow higher and this process is also done in our own lives. Pastor Eddington let us know as True Christians were going to have some trials and tribulations and that while were going through this process is known as our Pruning Period and whether we realize it or not pruning does hurt and can sometimes cause us some pain but keep in mind that while it maybe painful its not meant to do us any harm but better yet to remove the things that are harmful for and to us and thats hindering our ability to grow in The Lord. So that we can be all that He has called us to be and do what He has purposed for us to do. For God has promised never to leave nor forsake us neither to place anymore on us than we can bear and with that being said Id rather be pruned by God than used by the devil because at least I know that after my pruning that it will make me better so that I can be a more whole, healthy, and productive Christian. So I thank God for His Word on today and for His Ability to know what it was that I was standing in need of and as always you take care FB Fam and Be Blessed!!!
