Thanking God this morning....cause of him Im alive and able to share memories.Death is been on my heart heavy the last two weeks...all I see is good people dying. People you love, people I love. Its crazy how you can be here one hour and gone the next hour...life is too short..I want to share a story with you and this been on my heart for years now.. My aunt pearl passed away from cancer years ago...her and I use to laugh and joke around with each other all the time. I would go in room and bug everyday. Then I found out she was battling cancer...all of certain I couldnt bring myself to laugh and joke with her no more. I was scared even tho she wasnt. I distance myself from her. I never got to hear her laugh again or smile. And Im sorry. I should of acted like everything was still normal. While everyone was by your bed side..I sat down stairs in the lobby. I just wanted to keep the image of you smiling. Then there was uncle James..he use to tell me all the time when I joked with him how I wasnt too old to get butt beat...i always use to say wats the the word... He would say thunderbird thunderbird..lol...I never knew what that meant but thunderbird was always your response. I still dont want to know...just tell me when we see each other again. Today Carter would be one...instead your next to people I cared bout so much...I hope theyre treating just like they treating me...lol..we never met each other but I bet your everything I thought you would be...for everybody who lost a love one this week...rather young or old...cherish the memories you had with them...remember its never too late to make them smile...stay blessed my friends
