Not only are we celebrating the marvelous structure that opened a year ago and the stadium that will be opening in a few weeks but .......education is still the #1 objective and is making a huge statement at Dunbar these days! Dunbar was acknowledged today by the Mayor, Chancellor Henderson and the State Superintendent for Education, for the highest gains among all DCPS schools for reading (23.3 percentage points). Dunbar was cited again for the highest gains for all high schools with 23.3 percentage point gains in reading and 7. 3 points in math.
