Thanks Clive. I agree. I bet this woman really, really wished she hadnt answered the question, though with her preconceived ideas she, sadly, may well have learned nothing from the answer. The person who answered inflated her figures a great deal but her point was none-the-less valid; the peaceful moderates need to speak out and act against the extremists. I can understand that they may well be frightened to do so. Many moderates in Ulster were afraid to speak because of what the extremist Protestant or Catholic groups might do to them. Thats why Im impressed and encouraged as Muslims increasingly do. As reported recently in, I believe, the Daily Mail, over 100 important Imams in the UK stood out very publicly against terrorism. Lets hope their example encourages others.
