Thanks Deborah and Margaret for sharing this. I saw this on tv last night and was so embarrassed. Between the snow storm and health care, Deal is a curse. I am seriously considering leaving Georgia and the south. I love the south but the politics are moving backwards. Atlanta was considered the Mecca of the South, especially for African Americans but Georgia seems to be unable to un-ass the mean spirits that have lingered since slavery. Im not sure if there is a place in the US where I wont find these spirits, but they seem to like to congregate in the south. The purpose of traveling backwards is to learn from the past, not stay stuck in it.
