Thanks, Diane Erbeznik for the post. I love that show and I adore her. Viola Davis is a tremendous actor. Hunger Is is a really good organization. Ive been donating to the Safeway Foundation since about 2003 and heard about Hunger Is recently. Hunger Is was started in part by Safeway, Inc. - which was my favorite grocery store because they did food drives when I was a hungry teen and lived on my own in high school. Hunger is a very real issue for many children, and as you said, once youve experienced it, you never really get over it. More times than I care to remember, Ive eaten at the Bus Tub Buffet (as I would call it). But it was exactly what it sounds like - thrown out food. Together, we can do better. hungeris.org/
