Thanks James Owens my brother for the Challenge. I was also challenged by a dear sister in Christ, Anna Shepherd for the same thing. Thank you both for thinking of me. James, I know some of the challenges you and your family have faced.. Anna, the staggering loss you have suffered is beyond imagination. Dale became a good and trusted friend and brother in Christ over the years. So.. here it goes.. First.. Foremost and always in my heart..I am Grateful and Thankful for JESUS my savior and God the Father for being a Father to me. I look back on my life at the most incredible things He has brought me through.. many life threatening and see His hand in it. One or two things can coincidences.. but non-stop? For believers we know exactly what it is. God even tells us that in His Word.. that his HAND will guide us and direct us. Second.. Im grateful to God for my Wife Sheila Speed. We both had a tough road to get where we are.. it has not been easy, but here we are, married 22 years. And though raising kids can be so hard, especially with a blended family.. my kids are a blessing too. I miss Travis so very much, I DO so much miss the good times we had. I pray for Davonne.. that the Lord will help her and stabilize her life so she doesnt become the person her mother became. Trista, you may be my stepdaughter.. but I love you no different than Davonne.. you know this. No matter what you know you can depend on my love. Im Thankful for my granddaughters, Alex & Casey. and grandsons Donovan and Leland. It is impossible to put into words the love I have for them.. just impossible. Im Thankful for my friends.. I have SO many GOOD friends.. some go back 45 years.. You know who you are. Incredible brothers and sisters in Christ.. If I missed someone it would be hurtful.. so Ill just say I love and care for all of you! Im also Thankful for those God brought back into my life.. John M. Glinatsis.. my old friend that I went into the Navy with.. and many school friends Ive known since elementary School. Im especially thankful that He brought Sharee Harrison and I together as well. She was my stepdaughter in what seems like another lifetime. We may not be related anymore, but that doesnt matter, Im there for you kiddo. Thank you Lord for all the wonderful blessings in my life.. most are intangible.. some are things youve helped me with.. our new, beautiful home.. all the pets weve rescued. There is just so much for me to be Thankful for..
