Thanks Jeanne! New moms Discussion Group starting in January at Pennsylvania Hospital--for moms with babies born between 7/15/14-12/15/14. Pennsylvania Hospitals Hall-Mercer Child & Parent Center will be running a new session of “Exploring Parenthood,” starting Monday, January 5th. You can register for a 6-week session or a 12-week session. The classes are a great way to find other parents who are in the same stage of parenting and get lots of information about how to enrich your childs development. We discuss different topics each week, whether its getting baby into a sleep & feeding routine, returning to work, finding great childcare, tummy time/physical milestones, babys first smiles, or the life changes that new parenthood brings. And the babies love to spend time socializing as they make their “first friends” at playgroup! Here are more details about the group: Exploring Parenthood: Discussion & Play Group for New Moms and Babies Become more self-confident as a parent when you get answers to questions about baby care, infant sleep and feeding patterns, tummy time, soothing your baby, creating a daily routine, and your babys physical, social, and emotional milestones. Discuss topics such as returning to work, changes in family relationships, decisions about childcare, and balancing the demands of work and family. Learn how to engage your child and nurture your babys development through play. Meet other Center City parents and build friendships for your new family.
