Thanks John Rambo for this great explanation: Its not good to have so many invisible people out there. The reason why employers arent hiring is because the risks outweigh the potential rewards. In so many ways, the government adds to the costs of hiring, from wage costs to the risk of being sued. All these costs have to be considered by prospective employers. And theyre deciding that the rewards dont make it worthwhile, especially when the government takes so much out of any potential reward. The only realistic solution is for the government to stop burdening employment and reduce what it takes from businesses that actually make a profit. But that cant happen because people blame employers for problems that the government is causing.
