Thanks, Josie Ann Clarissa Escanlar for tagging me. 10 Filipino movies I love: * Norte, Hangganan ng Kasaysayan This films so good it made me proud to be associated with the director by nationality. Meaning, it made me proud to be a FIlipino. For a Filipino director to make this movie... AS IN. WOW. No words. GRAB THE CHANCE TO SEE IT. It is THAT good. No exag. AS IN. * Kisapmata Two words: VIC SILAYAN. I think the only movie I watched of him prior to watching Kisapmata was Friends in Love, where he was Sharon Cunetas dad. That voice. And then, I watched this. My perception of him as this endearing dad, wiped clean. He scared the sh*t out of me, and I watched Kisapmata in broad daylight. And its not even a horror movie. Masterclass in acting. Also, the atmosphere Mike de Leon created was pitch perfect. * Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros A complete movie; thoroughly entertaining. * Kakabakaba Bigyan niyo po kami ng tinapay. LSS for days. (and Christopher de Leon was incredibly handsome and Charo Santos was incredibly hot in this movie) * Buakaw Love. * Maynila sa mga Kuko ng Liwanag Bembol Roco FTW * Wating I grew up watching Palibhasa Lalake, so seeing Cathy (Carmina Villaroel) and Ricky (Richard Gomez) kiss was weird. Great movie, though. * Insiang Hilda Koronel proves shes not just a pretty face. * T-Bird at Ako Because Vilma Santos and Nora Aunor staring at each other for like minutes. No dialogue needed. * Bona Raised by a Vilmaninan, this ones a no-brainer though. Nora Aunor is Nora Aunor. Tagging Trish Astudillo Ellan Mark Pailan Russell Jayme Jonell Estillore Yoo Jin Ho Alcaraz Time to list your 10 Filipino movies. Mabuhay ang pelikulang Pilipino, po.
