This is something to keep in the back of your mind when sharing treats and human foods with your pets! We have seen many HSS fosters with terrible health conditions and shortened life span simply b/c they were overfed! Pleading doggie eyes are cute but you CAN resist! Try to give healthier human foods like yogurt, boiled egg, low fat cottage cheese, applesauce, unsweetened dry cereal, carrots, broccoli, lettuce, banana, or canned pumpkin. You would be surprised how many shelties like lettuce!
