Thanks Linda for giving me 11! Here we go: 1. I am from Illinois but have lived here since I was 6. 2. My parents moved in with us 3 years ago after my mother had a stroke. 3. I never drink colas and am allergic to gluten and milk. They make me break out. 4. When I was a teen, I used to say that I was never having children... that I would adopt an 18 year old. Who knew how prophetic that would be. I have 4 wonderful stepchildren ages 19-27. 5. I stopped biting my fingernails when I was 22 by popping my wrist with a rubber band every time I caught myself. 6. My favorite movies are The Breakfast Club, The Sound of Music, and Twilight. 7. I have the most amazing husband. Hes so smart, caring, and loving. It took me 30 years to find him, but he was worth the wait. 8. I seriously LOVE dogs. I adore them. 9. I spend more time reading than anything else. 10. Zumba changed my life in all of the most fantastic ways. Fitness, friends, and family all wrapped up in one. 11. I was in my 40s before I experienced having a real best friend.
