Thanks Maria Kalish for giving me my 26th year and a walk down memory lane. The year started with a trip to Tanzania where I spent 8 weeks working in a hospital as a 4th year medical student. I then took advantage of where I was and climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, went on safari to Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and the Masai Mara. From Nairobi, I took a train to Mombasa on the Kenyan coast and spent a week at the beach. Back in the U.S. in May, I got engaged to Devon Walker, graduated from Cornell Med, and started my life as an intern at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital by July. I met and learned from some of the smartest people I know, including David Chong, Jeffrey Gold, Gwen OKeefe and Gerald Ridge. Living in Riverdale gave me time to hang out more with my buddies Sungho and Tony Verrelli!
