Thanks Mike !! And Your buddies comment: While I appreciate the theme in this vignette, The problem with evil is so much more complex. This Analogy supposes their is no evil, just a lack of good. However..evil seems to be very real,very present. This trouble with evil in relation to a loving,and good God is called a THEODICY. Atheists,and non believers have a field day using this trump card to deny Gods existence. Ive never heard a satisfactory explanation, until this premise. Goes like this..... 1) God made everything Perfect. 2) One of the perfect things God made was free creatures. 3) Within free will are options, including evil. 4) So..imperfection (evil) can arise from perfection. Not directly,but indirectly through freedom. God created the FACT of Freedom. We, perform ACTS of freedom. God made evil possible. We make evil actual. Are there issues? Ya probably.
