Thanks Nimisha Shirodkar for asking me to write 3 lines from my work in progress. Here they go. I further nominate Author Varun Prabhu, Debashis Deb and Nithya Raghunath. WOuld love to know 3 lines from your book... Say a king ruled efficiently over his kingdom for forty years, maintained peace with the neighboring kingdoms, everything went well and people lived happily and then he was succeeded by his son who continued his efficient rule. There could be truth in that. But where is the story? Where is the emotion, the drama, the conflict? PS - Had to put up 4 lines. 3 lines would not have made sense.
