Thanks again for allowing me to join the group. I am hopeful that perhaps someone may have some information to assist me with a brick wall. I am attempting to learn the name of the mother of my ancestor Nancy Hilliard (1797 in Bulloch County, GA- after 1850 in FL). My data comes from the Underhill Genealogy Texts, Vol 6 (1980) and Huxfords Pioneers of Wiregrass Georgia vol 8 (1988). Nancy married on 13 Apr 1815 my ancestor Joseph Underhill (1794-aft 1880 FL). Nancy was the daughter of a Silas Hilliard (1770 NC-1861 Ware County, GA). Silas is known to have married a lady named Abigail Bulloch in 1806. Abigail cannot be Nancys mother as the dates are all off. Has anyone by any chance at all come across anything to help figure out who Silas first wife, and thus mother of Nancy, may have been? Any help is most gratefully appreciated!
