Thanks again to Alice Shattuck and Maddy for letting Zane use Annie this weekend when Salt came off the trailer with a major boo boo. It was a great little britches rodeo weekend and even the costly vet bill couldnt dampen the great feeling I.get watching all of.our families join together as one for a weekend! Zane had awesome times in goat tail untying on both days, and did pretty well on sweetheart in barrels Saturday, but smoked that time Sunday using Annie. Em forgot her goat string and thanks to Emma Maciborski for letting her borrow one Saturday and Catie Lane for letting her use yours Sunday. Em was in the money Sunday in goats. Trail is still a work in progress for Em, but she is making progress each time. Lex had her typically up one minute down the next weekend gaining ground in barrels Saturday only to lose a rein in poles, and knocking over a barrel and nearly losing her saddle in barrels and having a decent pole run Sunday. She topped.it off by being the closest on breakaway she has been yet to catching a calf. David and Lex also had a smoking time in dally ribbon roping Sunday! Overall more ups than downs and the downs were all great lessons!
