Thanks all for the concern. The now-20 year old who is being breastfed in the cover photo is now home in a rented hospital bed with a rented wheelchair and home nursing. Long rehab ahead but expect many a public service announcement from me for helmets. While I have a very broken child with lots of permanent implanted titanium, I have a living child with full brain function brought to us by a kickass helmet.
