Thanks for tagging Akshita.....but now u got me pondering what to jot down and what not coz my reading list travels a long journey initiating with the godfather stumbling across the roads of romance, philosophy and then like every indian meeting Mr.Bhagat on the way few times.....although here is a list of books which had a lasting impact. 1. Tha Godfather by mario puzo....i started my reading journey with this. Perhaps its one of the epics till date. 2. P.S I love you by Cecelia Ahern......yes i read this and this was special at some point of time talking of impact it had on mi life....teenage adventures led me here ;) 3. Alchemist by Paulo coelho....everyone has read this....and when you read the one mentioned above you ought to lend on philosophical zone soon 4. White Tiger by Aravind adiga....the best ever discussing India....loved the tone and message...genius writing...deserved booker 5. Life of pi by Yann Martel....yes this was a book much before it became the movie...again a great philosophical journey. 6. Norwegian wood by Haruki Murakami....gets in touch with your lonely side....one of the best laureate 7. Kafka on the shore by Haruki Murakami....again a masterpiece by the master. 8. Shiva trilogy by Amish.....just for the sheer imagination and guts. 9. The Great Indian Novel by Shashi Tharoor....must read 10. Nehru: the invention of India by shashi tharoor 11. Riot: a love story again by shashi tharoor 12. India unbound by gurcharan das 13. The Secret by Rohnda Byrne....legendary manuscript. 14. Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts 15. Its not about the bike by Lance Armstrong.....dope or not he is the best and will be. 16. Wings of fire/ Ignited minds by APJ Abdul kalam. 17. Jaya...Mahabharat...by Devdutt Patnaik....dived in mythology too ;) 18. Losing my virginity by Richard Branson 19. The girl with the dragon tattoo by Steig larrson 20. Tale of two cities by Charles Dickens....took a month to get in pace with this one...not recommended...but those who love literature its a library in itself..... Sorry i forgot i had to stop at 10 ;)......oh and Mr. Bhagat is not there in the list. I now nominate Saurabh Deshpande Shubham Mani Vaibhav Bansal Ujjwal Bhatia Kushagr Punyani Manshul Belani
