Thanks for the Coreanos review yesterday, James Yu. I went by there tonight on my way home and got a Shrimp Taco (4,000 KRW on flour tortilla) and a Classico Burrito with carne asada (9,000 KRW). They were taken to go on the back of a motorcycle. First, the shrimp taco was great. I know everyone raves about corn tortillas but I opt for flour most of the time. The taste was great but for the size and amount, usually stick with burritos at Mexican places (unless its Taco Bell and tacos are only 1,700 KRW). I liked the taco, but I would need to eat 4 or 5 to have a full meal. Maybe if I could get 3 for 10,000? Anyhow, for gourmet Mexican in Itaewon, they are on par with everyones prices. Note: the shrimp is the bottom layer and under the taco toppings, so they arent visible in the photo. Second, the burrito was greater. Ill be returning many times over to get this bandito. It was very very heavy on the meat and light on everything else. They certainly dont skimp on the hefty ingredients. It was grilled and a great size for the price. The seasonings were strong but not overdone and it had some spice but also not over done. If I want it spicier I can throw on some hot sauce. The service was excellent, they were kind and answered a couple questions. They also made it a point to ask if I wanted cilantro, which I didnt but wouldnt have thought of ordering special if they didnt ask. The restaurant looks great on both floors and next time Ill be returning with a group to take advantage of their many beers on tap.
