Thanks for the add!! I absolutely love post Chevelles and a 65 is my all time dream car. This was my fathers 65 300. Its the car that started it all for me, the its tar that I built with him and first one I learned everything on. It was a very sentimental car to not only my dad, but a huge part of my life for me. It started out as a ugly ducking in 1995, where my dad traded his 67 impala for. We redid the entire car, motor and drivetrain were first, then the body afterwards. The car was a blast and I remember it like it was yesterday. The car was suppose to be mine when I turned 16, and unfortunately he sold it from peer pressure lol(trust me, he regrets it) well we lost contact with the car for quite a few years, and 2 years back in June, I had some cash to buy a project car (I ended up getting a notchback foxbody) but I was searching online, craigslist eBay etc etc...well I found the car in eBay in Shreve ohio, about 2 hours away from me. We called the guy, talked for a while. All I wanted to do was see the car and maybe go for a ride. Well he denied my opportunity. Apparently the car was located 75 miles away from him in a storage unit. He got a wreck less op ticket in the car and put it far away to where he couldnt drive it. Well August rolled around, and I get a phone call from a friend of mine that the car Is at a local car show about 10 min from me. My fiancée and I got in the car and went to this show, and sure as shit it was there. From 1997, to this day...the car I still the exact same. Even down to the quarter window stickers tht I watched my father put on the car in 95. I got the opportunity to drive it with him again. One day I will get this car back, and it will never leave again :)) hope you enjoy it and get a kick out of the story. Thanks!
