Thanks for the add! Neurologist diagnosed me just today with chronic migraine. Thing is, Ive never had a severe headache. Like, ever. I have mild headaches daily, but nothing Id even bother with an aspirin for. I had two episodes he, and my other doctors, claimed to be auras. Blind spot in my eye, forgot the names of people, places, and things, lost the ability to speak, or recognize words or numbers. Came and went and thats it. Now Im on Topamax, and worrying about side effects that are worse than a minor headache that I could care less about. At a loss really. Feeling weird about the whole thing. Is this situation similar to anyone elses? Did anyones migraines start mild like this and get worse over time? Id be grateful to have some real insight from people who are in a similar boat on similar meds.
