Thanks for the add to the group, while I am very passionate about all things Kansas, one of the neatest treasures that I live to find are very old Wrought Iron or early Steel Bridges. The example below was photographed in November near the Ghost town of Bois DArk, KS. This said bridge was built in 1885 by the Kansas City Bridge and Iron Co, utilizing native stone for piers that was mined about 5 miles from this location. The location here is SW Butler county, which has 3 such bridges like this in about a 7 mile radius from the Town of Douglass.
