Thanks for the instructions for the DNAGedcom AC file, Becky! One warning Id like to add: If you do not have parents tested and placed on the tree for the profile whose AC you are adding, the ethnicity segments will not be associated with the proper parent in GenomeMate. For example, I have my grandmother and her sibs tested at 23andme but not their parents. Their AC results on 23andme are not phased (divided by parent) since there are no parents tested. When I uploaded the AC to GenomeMate, the ethnicity segments assigned themselves to Maternal or Paternal lines. BUT, after checking some cousins Ancestry Compositions based on where my grand and sibs match them (and knowing the common ancestor), the ethnicity segments that were assigned to Maternal actually are Paternal and vice versa. THIS IS ONLY IN A FEW AREAS IVE CHECKED. Some of the ethnicity segments MAY actually be assigned correctly but just be aware that the assignments in GenomeMate are random, just as they are on 23andme.
