Thanks for your interest and your votes. I am going to stay active in Democratic politics here in Crossville. I hope you will join us. I hope you will follow me on the Judy Barnett, Crossville page. I did not congratulate Cameron. I am still considering posting about the lies that he told about me on radio spots which we decided to ignore before the election. I dont think they really matter in terms of how we did, its a matter of principle - to tell what is the truth. For instance, he called me a liberal that is true. He said I was against the 2nd amendment which he concluded from the fact that I didnt fill out a questionnaire. I have no argument with the 2nd amendment, I just feel there should be background checks and gun registration. And most importantly, he said that I was in favor of an income tax for Tennessee. I dont know where he got that, because I am not. I am in favor of repealing all the tax cuts which the legislature made in the last four years, the gift tax, the inheritance tax, and the rate on the Hall tax. I have been very clear that I did not approve of these tax cuts as they have helped only the wealthy and have hurt the revenue which the state of Tennessee has to work with - we have had to cut the budgets of all state agencies and departments. I guess I decided to talk about what he said.
