Thanks go out to Chef Manny Ferreira & Richard who presented a fantastic menu in the Go Cooking kitchen last evening. With a menu of hearty local roasted root vegetables and watercress salad with candied pecans and goat cheese buttermilk dressing; rich cauliflower risotto, accented with truffle oil, duck confit, pan-fried shiitake and oyster mushrooms finished with Parmesan cheese and a delicious dessert of seasonal spiced apple shortcake with fresh whipped cream the comments were over the top!!! Such as We laughed...Manny was great!; Great to have a simple recipe for duck confit, thanks Manny and Manny was wonderful - glad to Richard helping him - The wines were paired by Peter Kline of Bacchus Sommelier Services and the Chardonnay and the Iced Cider were extremely well received.Thanks to Earth to Table Bread Bar and Peter @ Bacchus Sommelier Services for a great evening had by all!!
