Thanks goes out to Uncle Mike and Aunt Jodi who joined us at the blood drive this weekend. Jodi was told that the shelf life of a donation is 42 days but it will likely be gone in TWO! That just shows how important those donations are. We learned on Friday that Megan is AB-, which is the rarest of the blood types. The good news is that she can actually take donations from any type. Dad is B+ which is also one of the more rare types. Tara is A-, the second rarest type, but wasnt able to donate because of low iron levels, they sent her home with a pamphlet and a t-shirt. Noah enjoyed some free cookies in the canteen and dad didnt pass out! Megan is sporting a new doo! She lopped it off at the shoulders, but didnt get too crazy. She is researching some purple dyes to add a little sass! Last night we went to Hickory Park and barely survived! The cheese balls just kept coming and coming! We staggered back to the car with food comas setting in. We were all just a little bit miserable after that and spent the rest of the night moaning and groaning. Today, aunt Anne and the twins tore through around lunch time with aunt Jodi and her family. We had a nice visit and the kids enjoyed playing with new toys and meeting our hamster - Buddy. We are chilling this afternoon and catching up on laundry - blah! -Dad
