Established 14 years ago in New York City as an open mic, End of the Weak has grown into an international grassroots organization, now with members in 15 countries across five continents. Each year End of the Weak hosts an international cultural exchange program to strengthen the growing movement and celebrate Hip Hop culture. The exchange takes place in a different chapter country throughout America and Europe. This year, for the first time, the international End of the Weak cultural exchange program will take place in Uganda, Africa. In 2010, End of the Weak was launched in Uganda as a positive, productive channel for young Ugandan Hip Hop artists, musicians and dancers to share their struggles, conflicts and resolutions.
