Thanks so much for all the help that ive been constantly getting from here. Gave my gre yesterday and got 313 (162Q + 151V) Waiting for AWA -------- For those of yall who will be asking what i reffered to (unlikely because of the score, but still !) Quant: Manhattans 8 strategy Verbal: word power, barrons 1100, princeton (only for the strategies) Mock scores: Kaplan1: 308 Kalplan2: 309 Powerprep 1: 312 powerprep2: 308 --------- I am yet to give the TOEFL Stream: Computers College: Don Bosco Institute of Technology (mumbai university) Coming to the point, i am pretty clueless about how good or bad my score is and what universities i should be applying to... I have a - good amount of projects done (as a part of the curriculum but not confined to it).. also have a certi from NASSCOM foundation for one of them - been a part of NSS (national service scheme) - extra curricular activities (fests,etc) - been a part of the acm student chapter in the college (as a secy and as a vice chair) - been the asst tech head (role was to work with a team of 50 and come up with a website with online games as a part of the college festival) - paid internship at two companies (one of them was quite a major web design firm) - attended the college leadership camp , etc Could someone please point me in the right direction? I am interested in Operating systems and networks (although i am open to doing even ms in computer engineering) One thing i am VERY sure about is that i dont want to be spending a fortune to go to just any university (would like to be in one of the at least top 100 ranking univs *saying it even at the price of sounding a little cocky*), taking up a random course... So if my score and my profile isnt good enough PLEASE do tell me so! Thanks so much! :)
