Thanks to Andrew Oz Molloy for the nomination for this a film a day for 5 days thingy. Its been said that I only like films with one actor, about a Palestinian goat herder or something, but thats just not true. I also like films about Armenian shoe repairers and stuff like that. Seriously though, I do have a love of films which study humanism, the soul. Thats the type of shit I really like. So Im going to choose 5 films which have really affected me, and made me think differently about people, life etc. My first choice is The 400 Blows. A classic film about how someone being misunderstood by family, friends, teachers etc can determine what path they will take in life, even from a very young age. Its not a blockbuster, and perhaps not the jolliest of affairs, Ill give you that.
