A broad range of topics were covered, including - currency value and its administration; the immigration status of Poles in Scotland during the 18 month transition period; the NHS in light of possible cuts in funding by the UK government and beyond; pensions, including entitlement and payment from several EU member states; EU and NATO membership; benefits; funding for research in Scottish Universities Most of the questions were answered at the meeting and any doubts and uncertainties were successfully allayed. Provision was made for questions requiring further research to be recorded. All of the attendees generally considered that all their questions had been satisfactorily answered. Seven people signed up to find out more about the YES campaign, whilst six voting registration forms and six Declaration cards were also completed.
